GAGE GALLERY COMMUNITY PROJECT
CHALLENGE CRISIS WITH CREATIVITY

Creative expression heals, and sharing it with others connects. In this time of isolation and uncertainty we want to bring the community together and help people focus on something fun. Draw, paint, doodle, sculpt or write a poem at home about what you are experiencing because of COVID-19. You don’t need to be an artist - everybody’s contribution is welcome. Take a photo of your creation and and send it to us. I you wish, provide a short description of your work. Invite your kids to participate. Our weekly prompt will help you get inspired.
Entries get published on the Gage Gallery Website and onto our social media platforms.
If you have entered your creation(s) or are planning to do so during this pandemic - please keep your work in safe keeping at home! And your submitted work might get selected to be shown in the Gallery: On June 23rd the Gage will open with a (physical) exhibition of your expressions during COVID-19.

Please email a photo of your creation to Ashley Riddett at:
 riddettgreen@gmail.com
Ashley is a University of Victoria Art History and Visual Studies graduate student. She is leading the project and will curate the exhibition.
Enter your name and email to receive our weekly prompts.
We are looking forward to hearing from you and seeing your entries.
Stay healthy and safe,
The Gage Gallery Artists
